Vern Meiring

Forensic investigations expert with more than 18 years of experience investigating fraud and corruption across a range of industries.

Vern has extensive experience leading fraud and misconduct investigations which include conducting interviews and performing analysis of large transactional data sets including emails and other documents. He joined McGrathNicol in 2017, having previously worked for Big 4 firms in Australia and Africa.

Vern is also a trained lawyer and was admitted to practice law in South Africa after completing his articles of clerkship. Since joining McGrathNicol, Vern has been engaged in numerous high-profile investigations which have led to criminal prosecutions.
